I enjoyed your honest, no "BS" approach that I am FINALLY inspired to get off of my keester and do what it takes to get myself out of the cubicle after 20 long, painful years. Thank you for the inspiration and for being open to acting as a continued resource to those of us that are new to the idea of lining our own pockets rather than someone elses. Much success to you. What an honor to be nominated--way to go! Thanks for your faithfulness in working, writing, and sharing all of your stuff with us. I have to say, though (esp since several of the other books are about relationships, trust, networks and such) that since you celebrate those who have broken away from the big, faceless corporations, it is frustrating that you linked to amazon to show the books. Maybe you weren't intending your readers to buy them from the cubicle-laden a-zon, but it seems you missed an opportunity to link to Indie-bound, or other links that show were local bookstores are. We who took the dive and started indie shops are dying mostly because folks like the ease and savings of the admittedly extensive services of amazon. But we've got the relational customer service, the personal knowledge, the passion and the faces. Help us (as you sometimes do) spread the word that we should support such businesses. You encourage us to start up these passionate little places and then link to our chief nemesis. Sigh. I'm still votin' for ya, though, because we like your spunk, and truly think your book is the best of the batch.
