Pamela,
I spent 6 1/2 years in the Navy. 2 on an aircraft carrier. My personal Navy journey was a journey away from fear, doing what other people thought I should. I am ashamed to be classified with the truly fearless sailors out there. The sailors that left alcoholic parents to find something better.
My point is that there are weak people (I include myself while in the Navy) in the Navy too. Also many of the sailors are looking to escape.
